Pokemon XYZ: A review

First of all this series, in my opinion, stands on top in terms of my favorite tv series. It’s astonishing that this TV series was made in 2015 and still hits hard. A testament to its production team, directed by Kunihiko Yuyama and Tetsuo Yajima, with executive producer Kenji Okubo and producers Tim Werenko and Toshifumi Yoshida.

Additionally, this series is the first series that made me dive into the realm of Pokemon series, a decision prompted by the widespread acclaim and feeling surrounding its quality. Noteworthy within the narrative is the emergence of Ash Greninja, a character that gives out an undeniable epicness. The inclusion of formidable antagonists, namely Team Rocket and Team Flare, contributes substantially to the series' allure.

Situated in the Kalos region, the series unfolds across various locales, including Lumiose City, Ambrette City, Anistar City, and others. Kalos as a region is a very beautiful region, it is also one of the best in terms of technology.

Continuing on talking about the villains of this series, the villains are actually not bad. Lysander/red hair guy whatever he is did not bad in terms of fighting, strategy, etc as a villain. He has a wish to restart the world all over again, basically gives me Thanos vibes but instead of whipping half of the universe, he wants things to go back to peace by going oppenheimer/rumbling on Earth 💀.

The gym leaders introduced in Kalos contribute to the series' narrative depth. Unlike conventional narratives where Ash effortlessly overcomes gym challenges, Kalos introduces plot twists wherein victories are accompanied by occasional defeats. This narrative choice also teaches the audiences a valuable life lesson, emphasizing that victory is not guaranteed and earnest effort is the biggest key for success.

And now I’m going to breakdown pokemons that Ash had used during his time at Kalos.  During Ash’s journey in Kalos, the team that he uses is a diverse and formidable team. His team included Pikachu, Greninja, Talonflame, Hawlucha, Goodra, and Noivern. The series thus showcases strategic diversity in Ash's Pokemon selection.

Even though team Rocket keeps getting blasted to space, this pokemon series illuminates the surface of their background previously shrouded in mystery. Even though they’re one of the main villains for almost all the Pokemon series, they still did good things for the protagonists like for example helping ash & his friends and other people to stop the world from getting destroyed.

To conclude all of this, I would like to say that the Kalos region setting, diverse Pokemon rosters, and captivating villains like Team Flare and its leader Lysander adds more twists to the story. The narrative depth is also enhanced by plot twists in gym challenges, teaching valuable lessons. The series also dives into the backgrounds of the main villains like Team Rocket. Despite some comedic elements, the series maintains a balance of action, strategy, and character development, making it an outstanding Pokemon series. That’s all for my movie review, thank you for your attention :D
