Coco's movie review
Coco’s Movie Review
Coco is directed by Lee Unkrich, it's co-directed by Andrian Molina, and it's produced by Darla K.Anderson. Written by Molina and Matthew Aldrich based on the screenplay, and written by Unkrich, Molina, Aldrich, and Jason Katz based on the story. This film stars Anthony Gonzalez as the voice of Miguel, Gael Garcia Bernal as the voice of Hector, Benjamin Bratt as the voice of Ernesto de la Cruz, and many more. It was released at the 22nd of November 2017 and it’s categorized as a comedy, musical, and adventure based genre film. It is set at a festival in Mexico called El Dias Los Muertos.
This film takes place in a village in Santa Cecilia, Mexico. Where the city holds the El Dias Los Muertos festival every year. Then, this film tells about a child who really likes music and has an idol, namely Ernest de la Cruz, but his hobby is forbidden by his family because they have been traumatized by music in the past. But one day, Miguel's only musical instrument is destroyed and he does something reckless that takes him to the spirit world, and he has time before he becomes a full spirit, so what will happen next? Will he be a full spirit or back being a human?
Antony Gonzalez is very suitable to be the voice of Miguel, because in my opinion the acting he does in voicing Miguel is very much like a 12 years old child. I think Gael Garcia Bernal is also very good at voicing Hector, that is, he really animates the character of Hector and can also convey the humor very well. Next, for Gael Garcia Bernal, I really like his acting because he can deceive the audience with his acting.
I really like the graphics of this film, this film has very good graphics and also the colors are very suitable. It has a storyline that is mostly about night or the spirit world, which makes the colors tend to be dark, but it turns out it's not that dark, because this film still has a variety of colors that make this story look alive, even in the spirit world. And in my opinion, there is no need to question the music of this film, having a musical genre is the genre that I think suits this film the most because it has lots of good songs, starting from funny songs to heart touching songs, which are most of these songs are very reflective of Mexico.
In my opinion, this film is very entertaining and has lots of things that make us curious. This film is also very moral because it shows the strength of family bonds, even our bonds with those who have died. It has a very unique story atmosphere, with lots of Mexican music, which really reflects Mexico and its festivals and really suits the atmosphere of the place.
I highly recommend this film to be watched, especially with family, it has funny scenes and very good music, but also has a very, very good moral message.
